Welcome to the Central Nevada Health District’s Tobacco Prevention Initiative!
At the Central Nevada Health District (CNHD), we are committed to promoting a healthier future for our rural and frontier communities. In partnership with Douglas County, Nevada, we work to support and implement tobacco prevention educational campaigns aimed at reducing tobacco use and its harmful effects on individuals, youth and families. Our collaboration with local organizations, schools, and businesses helps to foster a tobacco-free environment while providing resources, education, and support to those looking to quit smoking or prevent youth from starting.
Together, CNHD, Douglas County, and our local partners strive to create a healthier, tobacco-free community by advocating for policy changes, raising awareness, and offering a variety of programs designed to empower individuals to make informed, healthier choices. Join us in our mission to reduce tobacco-related health risks and build a safer, healthier future for all.
