BURNING MAN PARTICIPANT APPLICATION INFORMATION

Helpful Burning Man Health Inspection Preparatory Information

Please note: If you are only offering coffee (water only), tea (water only), prepackaged shelf-stable cookies/chips/candy, alcohol with ice and no garnishes a health permit will not be required for 2026. If you are unsure – reach out!

STEP BY STEP APPLICATION TIPS!

Step 1: Create an account and log in.

Step 2: Navigate to Applications.

Step 3: Select New Application.

Step 4: Under Central Nevada, choose the Burning Man permit option.

Step 5: Enter all required information, including but not limited to:

  • Your personal and contact information
  • Camp information
  • Camp location
  • All foods to be served for human consumption
  • Food preparation and services times
  • Days of service

** Please ensure all required fields are completed accurately.

Step 6: Submit payment. Payment is required in order to complete and submit the application.

Step 7: You will receive an email confirmation once your payment has been successfully processed.

Step 8: Our office will receive your completed application and review it.

  • We will contact you if we have any questions.
  • Your health permit will be printed and brought with us to the Playa.
  • Please plan to pick up your permit on the Playa during the designated days.

If you need to make any changes to your application—including:

  • Camp location
  • Menu items or ingredients
  • Meal service times
  • Days of service
  • Any other application details

Note: As the event approaches in August 2026, our office will send final updates to confirm details and provide any last-minute information.

Important Update

Burning Man Participants: Please pick up your Health Permit at Playa Info located at Esplanade and 5:45 starting August 31, 2026 until September 4, 2026 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
