Step 3 Administrative ReviewOnce received, the application and supporting documents will undergo review by CNHD staff in the order received. Review timelines may vary; however, up to 20 business days should be allowed from the date of complete application and payment confirmation for processing.
Step 4 Regulatory Communication & InspectionsCNHD Environmental Health staff will contact the applicant with any inquiries, clarifications, or deficiencies identified during the review process. Should a rough construction inspection of the mobile food unit be required, CNHD will provide a minimum of 72 hours’ advance notice for scheduling.

In accordance with NAC and local ordinances, the permit must be conspicuously posted within the mobile food unit and visible to the public. Applicants are responsible for ensuring that all required approvals from local authorities (e.g., business licenses, fire clearance) are obtained prior to commencing operations.
