Desiree grew up in Genoa, Nevada and moved to Fallon, Nevada in 1991 where she has worked in the hospital setting for more than 30 years. She earned a bachelor’s degree in management in 2015, and then decided to go back to school to become a nurse. She earned an Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Western Nevada College, and recently graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She is excited to be part of the newly formed Central Nevada Health District and the expanded resources it will provide to the communities it serves. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time exploring the beautiful state of Nevada and all of its recreational opportunities with her family and friends.
